Head Coach Kristen Cavallo
Head Coach Kristen Cavallo is entering her second year leading the Lady Mustang Volleyball team. Coach Cavallo was a four-year softball player at Purdue University from 2002-2006. The San Diego, Calif. native earned her bachelor’s degree in communication with emphasis in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue in 2006. She continued her education and earned a master’s degree from Indiana University in 2009. Coach Cavallo heads the Education & Training program at Lamar Consolidated, and sponsors the LCHS Chapter of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE). Coach Cavallo is married to George Ranch HS Campus Athletic Coordinator Nick Cavallo, and resides in Needville with her husband, daughter Adriana (8) and two sons, Blake (6) and Colt (5)
JV Coach-Caitlin Behne
Coach Behne is in her second year at Lamar CHS with both girls soccer and volleyball. Coach Behne is a 2009 graduate from Foster HS and a 2014 graduate from Sam Houston State University. She has a BA in Sociology with a minor in Political Science and is certified in all social studies grades 7-12. She is currently teaching world history and world geography PAP.
Freshman Coach-Yolanda Sinegal
Coach Sinegal comes to Lamar CHS from Spring Forest Middle School in Spring Branch ISD. At Spring Forest, she coached the 8th grade A&B volleyball teams, 7th grade girls A basketball team and 7th and 8th grade girls track. Coach Sinegal’s experience, however, is not limited to the middle school level. She served six years as head softball coach and assistant volleyball coach at Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur and head volleyball coach, head basketball coach and head softball coach at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Prep of Houston. Coach Sinegal earned her bachelor’s degree in social work in 1992 and a master’s degree in Human Performance in 2001 from Texas Southern University. Coach Sinegal is married to Walter Sinegal, Jr and has two children, Troy and Trey.
