Multiple Teams · Boys Varsity Basketball Goes 1-1 Over Thanksgiving Week

Basketball Keeps Pushing Forward

Last week the Lamar Boys Basketball team played at Home on Monday Night and Wednesday morning of the Thanksgiving Break.  As a whole the basketball program secured 6 wins in the two days of action. The matchup on Monday night was against Fort Bend Kempner High School and the Basketball program won 3 of 4 games losing only at the Varsity level.  All three levels played again on Wednesday morning against Fort Bend Dulles High School, with the Mustangs having a great turnout again at home with 3 program victories.  The only loss was an overtime thriller by the Freshman B team in which Dr. Guess’ crew fell just short. The Mustang Basketball Program is a combined 10 wins 2 loses at Home this season!

The win on Wednesday brought the Mustang Varsity record to 2-2, with both wins coming at home this season.  The Varsity will play on Tuesday versus Bay City at home and then start the Needville Tournament on Thursday.
